See the highlights of the North York Moors National Park and visit the historic house of Castle Howard, and its extensive grounds, entry included in your tour ticket.
The tour includes a long stop at Castle Howard, one of the finest stately homes in Britain, where you will be able to explore the house and estate grounds as part of your visit.
In the afternoon there will be time to visit Pickering, the location of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The tour will go off the ‘beaten track’ to explore the Moorland, as well time in the market town of Helmsley.
There will be time to take in views over the Vale of York, before returning to the centre of York.
This tour is a guided scenic mini-coach tour, but there are times when you will have the option to walk up to a few hundred metres to take in a view or point of interest.
Clothing & Footwear
We suggest you wear comfortable and sensible footwear, we also recommend bringing a light raincoat.
