On leaving Windermere you will head for a full day out to see Ten of the famous Lake District Lakes including; Windermere, Rydal Water, Grasmere, Thirlmere, Derwent Water, Buttermere, Crummock Water, Bassenthwaite, Ullswater and Brothers Water.
This tour is not just about Lakes, you will see some spectacular mountainous scenery, as you travel over the famous Kirkstone and Honister mountain passes, some the highest in the Lake District.
Visiting the most iconic locations in the Lake District by taking in Grasmere, Keswick, Ullswater and the Borrowdale Valley in one day, this tour offers great value for money.
Make sure you bring your camera! There will be plenty of opportunities to take those memorable shots to share with your friends and family.
This tour is a guided scenic mini-coach tour, but there are times when you will have the option to walk up to a few hundred metres to take in a view or point of interest.
You will stop in Keswick for approximately 1 hour. There are a number of pubs, cafes, restaurants and sandwich shops located in Keswick. These cater for a wide range of tastes.
We use a number of Lakes for the cruise, this gives us flexibility in case of poor weather. With this in mind, unfortunately we cannot state the location of the Lake cruise in advance. Please note the lake cruise is not available during the Winter version of the tour, between 31 October 2016 to 25 March 2017.
