This week 70 industry suppliers from all over the country will be flying out to San Francisco to represent Britain as a must visit tourist destination to buyers from North America.

Currently our Group Sales & Marketing Manager Asia Connor is on her way along with several other representatives from local business to promote the area. Tourism plays a major role in the local economy, creating employment and contributing greatly to local businesses.

The trade event brings together a huge amount of businesses from all over the UK, hotels, retailers, visitor attractions, experiences etc to showcase the best of Britain, to promote and to inspire trade from the overseas markets. The US is one of the biggest inbound markets for the UK, events such as this offers the opportunity to build new relations with suppliers who, in turn, bring thousands of visitors to the area.
It generates income into the local area, creating more employment and investment. Several businesses from the Lake District are joining Mountain Goat and heading to San Francisco for the three day event.
