The Lake District has become a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

As of July 2017, The Lake District has become the first UK National Park to be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site joining iconic locations such as the Taj Mahal, the Great Barrier Reef and the Grand Canyon.

The Lake District has been honoured for its culture as well as its ancient landscape and we at Mountain Gout are proud to be able to take you to see some of the most stunning places in the UK, all of which have heavily influenced the decision to award the Lake District with a World Heritage Status.

From our beautiful mountains to our magnificent lakes, we have an evolving landscape that looks beautiful no matter what time of year. So why not join us off the beaten track and explore the Lake District whilst experiencing some breathtaking World Heritage views.
